There are some issues that we are unable to investigate. We cannot usually look at a complaint if:
- it has been more than 12 months since first encountering the issue
- you have not been personally affected by the matter
- it is a council-wide issue, affectinf everyone
- you have, or had, a right to appeal or take legal action and we think it is reasonable for you to have done so. This might be to:
- a tribunal (such as the Housing Benefit Appeals Service)
- a government minister (such as a planning appeal)
- the courts
- the issue is personal (i.e., associated with your place of work)
